It all started when he died. Shot three times, practicing wizard Pierce Billova leaves his dead body behind and goes on a walk-about where he finds a woman pleading for the life of her unborn baby. After an experienced trauma team saves his life, he makes it his goal to find the woman and help her. She was a quiet librarian mixed up with magic. Nothing in her life had prepared her to deal with the battle between powerful wizards being fought around her. Life becomes really crazy when she realizes a lot of the coincidences she’s been experiencing indicate she is a wizard herself. Their love is the power that can save the planet. Pierce and CeeDee run to the sanctuary of the Bed and Breakfast while searching for the source of missing power, but there are evil wizards trying to kill them, some even a little too close to home.
